Recent Landscape Works

So, for those of you who are not fans of ThinkDan.ca on FaceBook, here is a selection of my most recent landscape work. These places are located mostly in Kananaskis and just west of Calgary, Alberta. We are so fortunate to be so close to such great vistas.

Nearly all of these images were stitched together from multiple frames to create a panorama. I am becoming a huge fan of the wide perspective capture, are you?

So Ricki and Kevin emailed me asking if I was available for a fall session.  I took some photos for them back in February. We had some fun, but wanted more outdoors photos. Here’s a few frames from what we found.

Cross Family/Musician Session – 09.23.2011

Thank you Steve, and good night.

Well, there’s not much to say about the passing of Steve. I am very thankful for what he’s done for me personally and for my industry. I use his products every day and can’t imagine what life would look like without them. In fact, I was using one of his most popular products to illustrate a point with photography. More can be found here.

So, here’s my tribute. It’s a mosaic constructed using only my iPhone photos from the past year and a half, the number different tiles used is around 730. Some are repeated and some are not, but you get the idea.

Steve Jobs Tribute

Once again, thanks Steve.
